Forwarding an email into CRM as an Activity

To use the Email To Activity feature, you must have your company’s CRM (fka Luxor) activity email (it has the domain of @activities.luxorcrm.com). You can find this email by clicking the email icon on any contact in CRM (fka Luxor). It should open an email and include the @activities.luxorcrm.com email address. If you have any issues accessing this, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

Tip

When emailing an email chain into Luxor as an activity, it will only show the most recent email and not the full chain. If each email in the email chain had your company’s CRM (fka Luxor / LuxorCRM) server email address CC’d or BCC’d then all of them would come into the system per email.

The CRM system, previously known as Luxor, offers a convenient feature known as "Email to Activity." This functionality allows users to CC a designated email address, provided by CoreLogic, in their email software (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.). By doing so, the email thread is automatically integrated into the Contact's Activity section in the CRM.


The primary advantage of this feature is its ability to streamline workflow. It eliminates the need for redundant data entry and ensures that your email interactions with clients are logged automatically, enhancing efficiency and maintaining a comprehensive record of client communications.

Sending the Email

For an email to be sent to the Activities section of a Luxor contact, three things must happen:

  1. You must CC or BCC your company’s CRM (fka Luxor) activities email (see the disclaimer at the top of this page for more information)
  2. The “From” email address must be attached to the employee's profile in CRM (fka Luxor). This is so that the system knows who in the system the email is coming from.
    • You can register multiple email addresses to your account by going to Settings > Personal Settings > Personal Information. Then click on the downward arrow/chevron next to "Email Address 1" to add more email addresses. After adding any new emails, click Save at the top.
        
  3. The “To” email address must exist on a contact within CRM for the activity to attach to. Otherwise, CRM (fka Luxor) will not know which contact the email activity belongs to and will create a new, blank contact in your database with the email activity on it.
