Issue

• Unable to locate MICA icon/app after downloading MICA desktop application
• Missing MICA app shortcut

Solution

After installing MICA successfully for Windows, the icon to open the app may not be added to your desktop icons.

When this happens you will need to open the app from the file location. To do this:

1. Go to Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (86x) > Next Gear Solutions > MICA (or whichever disk drive you have installed the MICA application on your PC)
2. Double-click the MICA PAD.exe file to open the application
3. You should now see the application icon in your taskbar, pin this to the taskbar after opening by right-clicking on the application icon and selecting "Pin to taskbar"
4. You can also create a desktop shortcut by going back to Program Files(86x) > Next Gear Solutions > MICA. Locate the MICA Pad .exe file, right click and choose the option to create a desktop shortcut.
