Editing Views

You can edit views that you own in one of two ways:

1. NOTE: You will only be able to edit views that you own. You cannot edit shared views or default views. Reach out to the user who owns the view or duplicate the view in order to edit it yourself.
   
   
2. Views can be edited directly from the View grid within a module (Contacts, Jobs, Organizations, etc). 
   • Click on the module that the view is under (i.e. Contacts, Jobs, Organizations)
   • Select the view you want to edit from the view dropdown/selection list
   • Once you've clicked the view, the page should refresh
   • Click on the down arrow to the right of the view dropdown list
   • Click "Edit View"
     
     
   • Make any desired changes from the Edit screen and click save
   • Once you access the View again you should see those changes
     
     
3. Views can be edited from the Settings > My Views section of your Luxor environment. 
   • Alternatively, you can edit your views from within the Settings area of Luxor.
   • To access this area click on Settings > My Views
   • Then choose the module that the view is created under
     
     
   • Then locate the view from the list on the page and click on it to enter the edit screen
   • Make edits as needed and click Save.
     • If you do not see the Save option it is because it is either a Shared View (someone else owns it) or a system Default View. You can always reach out to the user who owns the view or duplicate the view in order to edit it yourself.
