- Can you add time to a previous pay period?
- How can I remove timesheet entries from the past?
- Unable to clock-in employee due to previously unclosed time entry
Answer
You cannot add/edit/remove timesheets from a previous pay period that has already ended. However, if needed, you can adjust the current pay period to include the previous pay period, edit your time entries, then set them back to the current pay period (under Timesheets > General Settings):
- Hover over Timesheets and select General Settings
- When the page loads, make note of 1) your current Default Pay Settings and 2) the end date of your current pay period. Once you’ve made note of this information, change your Default Pay Settings to Bi-Weekly. Then, adjust the Pay Period End Date so that it includes the date of the time entry you want to edit within the two-week period preceding this end date.
- For example: with the settings in this img, you would edit time entries in the system between 2/24/2021 and 3/10/2021.

- Now, edit your Timesheet entries as needed.
- Once you have finished editing your Timesheets entries, return to Timesheets > General Settings and reset your Default Pay Settings back to the way they were before, except set the Pay Period End Date to the End Date of the current Pay Period you're in.
