• How can I copy a View?
• Someone shared a View with me and I want to edit it

Answer

Copying Views is a great way to build off of Views that you have already created or to edit views that other users have shared with you in your CRM (fka Luxor) system.

You can copy Views by doing the following:

1. Log into your CRM (fka Luxor) environment
2. Click on Settings in the upper right-hand corner of your Luxor screen
3. Click on My Views, then choose the module that the view is under (jobs, contacts, organizations, etc).
4. Then, you will want to look through the list of your Views (personal and shared), then select the button to the left of the View name.
5. Then click Copy at the top of the page.
   
   
6. You will then see a new View in the list called "Copy [name of view here]"
7. Rename the copied view by selecting the button to the left of it. Click Rename in the blue action ribbon at the top of the views page.
8. Once you've created a cloned view, you can hide the older shared view that does not have the changes on it (see this article for more info Deleting / hiding Views).
9. Now you'll want to make any desired changes to the View by clicking on it. See this article for more information on how to edit a view Editing existing Views
