Sketch will not export from Mitigate to Xactimate

Issue

  • Issues with Mitigate (fka MICA) sketch exporting to Xactimate

 


Answer

  1. Within Mitigate (fka MICA), pull up the sketch and check for arrows or equipment on walls outside of their associated room.
  2. Check for any walls or doors overlapping. This will cause the sketch to not be able to export over. Separate the rooms and try to export again. We recommend pulling all of the rooms slightly apart and then exporting to Mitigate (fka MICA) cloud. Example of sketch with overlapping walls:

  3. Send another vendor request with the Send Only Updates box Unchecked. This can take up to 15 minutes for it to resend. See this article for more information on how to send a Vendor Request between Mitigate (fka MICA) and Xactimate - Sending information from Mitigate to Xactimate
