The ability to merge contacts (or organizations) is only available if the user has the deduplication security group added to their profile under the Admin Settings > User Management.
To merge a contact or organization into another, follow these steps:
- First, click the checkbox next to all the contacts (or companies) that you want to merge (the one you want to keep and the ones you want to merge).
- Then click Merge from the left-hand navigation menu.
- From there, select the button next to the contact you want to KEEP.
- Then click Merge to Selected.
- This should merge all contacts into the contact that you clicked/selected.
