Deleting photos in MICA mobility

Question

  • How to delete photos on a loss in MICA?
  • How to delete photos from MICA mobile app?
  • How can I delete a photo I accidentally uploaded?

Answer

If the photos have not been exported (and still only exist on the local version of the loss on your device). Note: if you are attempting to delete more than 50+ photos at one time, you may experience a timeout. If you do get a timeout, try deleting the photos in smaller batches. Follow these instructions based on the device you are using:

  • iPad
    • Locate the loss in your MICA mobile app
    • Open the photos and tap the circle next to the photos to select them
    • Tap the icon in the top right to look at that menu, and choose "Delete Selected"
    • Re-export the job to MICA cloud

  • iPhone
    • Locate the loss in your MICA mobile app
    • Tap "select" at the top right, then select the picture(s) you want to delete
    • Then tap the trash can icon at the bottom left to delete them
    • Re-export the job to MICA cloud

  • Windows
    • Locate the loss in your MICA Windows app
    • Open the image and click the delete button
    • Re-export the job to MICA cloud
