SubContractors highlighted in red when assigning Work Orders

Question

  • Why are SubContractors highlighted in red when assigning Work Orders?

Answer

Tip

You can manage all expired or missing documents from the Document Management Report. This can be accessed from the top right-hand corner of the Contact Manager page. See this article for more information - Viewing all contacts that have expired documents

If a SubContractor company is highlighted red when you are assigning Work Orders, this means that the SubContractor does not have all their appropriate documentation in the Contact Manager, or that their documentation is expired.

The required pieces of documentation are:

  • General Liability
  • Workers Comp
  • Auto Insurance
  • Master Sub Agreement
  • Business License

These must all be uploaded and have an expiration date that is not expired. When you are replacing expired documents on a SubContractor's contact, make sure to remove the old/expired document first before uploading the new one.

Updating Documentation

You can add/update the documentation on a SubContractor by following the instructions below:

  1. Hover over "Contact Manager" in your DASH environment and select "Company
  2. Locate/search for the SubContractor Company in the Company Name column (you can also access the company's contact directly from the Administration > Reset Purchase Order screen by clicking on their name under the Reference column)
  3. Once you have opened the Company's record, click on the Documents tab
  4. Add or update these required pieces of documentation
    • General Liability
    • Workers Comp
    • Auto Insurance
    • Master Sub Agreement
    • Business License
