Overview

Once you have created a new job in DASH or Mitigate you will be able to push that job to the other system to link them.

Sending a job from DASH > Mitigate

If you have a job that exists in DASH but has not been created in Mitigate yet, you can send it from DASH > Mitigate by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the job in DASH 
2. Expand the Linked Assignment Information dropdown found under the Job Information section.
3. Once expanded, you will click Export Assignment. A popup window will appear and you will select Mitigate (fka MICA) from the dropdown.
   
4. Once complete, you will be able to locate the loss in your Mitigate Environment.
5. Pushing this information over to Mitigate is a one-time push. Keep in mind that if any customer/job information is updated in DASH or in Mitigate, it will need to be manually updated in the other system (ex: customer name, loss address, claim number, loss description, customer phone number, customer email address).
6. The information that is sent over from DASH to Mitigate includes:
   • Customer name
   • Loss Address- City, State, Zip Code
   • Customer Main Phone number
   • Customer Email address
   • Claim Number
   • Policy Number
   • Loss Description
   • Date of Loss

Linking jobs from Mitigate > DASH

All jobs that are created in Mitigate will automatically be sent over to DASH and be able to be accepted one of two ways:

• New job: any Mitigate job can create a new job in DASH from Administration > Accept Job (if the job does not already exist this will create a shell of a new job in DASH with the MICA job linked)
• Existing job in DASH: if the job already exists in DASH you can link it from the Linked Assignment section of the job slideboard

Accepting a new Mitigate job via Accept Job

If the job does not already exist in DASH, you can create a new shell of a job with the Mitigate job already linked:

1. Within your DASH environment, hover over Administration and select Accept Job
2. All Mitigate jobs automatically sync over - you will need to filter the results on this page by using the Claim Number, Customer name, or Job Address filters
3. Once you locate the Mitigate job, click Create Linked Job
   
4. This will bring up a new create job screen - basic job details will be filled out / brought over from Mitigate. Click Save & Go to Slideboard to create the new job.

Linking a Mitigate job to an existing DASH job

You can link an existing Mitigate (fka MICA) job to an existing DASH job by following the steps below:

1. Log into your Mitigate website 
2. Navigate to the existing Mitigate job and open the loss
3. Click on "Send to DASH" to send the job over
   
4. Log into your DASH environment
5. Navigate to the existing job in DASH that you would like to link the existing Mitigate job to
6. Expand the Linked Assignment Information dropdown found under the Job Information section.
7. Click Link Job to Assignment
   
8. Select Not Linked to Any Claims and choose Mitigate (fka MICA) from the dropdown
   
9. Check the box next to the Mitigate job you want to link to the existing DASH job
10. Keep in mind that if any customer/job information is updated in DASH or in Mitigate, it will need to be manually updated in the other system (ex: customer name, loss address, claim number, loss description, customer phone number, customer email address).
