Altitude report does not match 3rd party accounting reports

Question

  • Why does my financial data in Altitude not match a similar report in my 3rd part accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks or Sage)?
  • Altitude does not match QuickBooks report

Answer

When comparing reports between your 3rd party accounting software and DASH there are a few factors that can cause a discrepancy:

  • The "Invoiced Amount Breakdown By Division" section in Altitude depends on the date the invoice synced into DASH, not the date it was invoiced in your accounting software. Therefore, if you had any delays in syncing invoices between your accounting software and DASH, the dates could be very different from QB and Dash.
  • The Invoice Breakdown by Division includes Credit Memos in the Invoice Subtotal but does not include Invoice Tax.
