Unable to edit a Task

  • Why am I unable to edit the fields of a Task in CRM (fka Luxor)?

In order to build, view, and manage system-automated tasks in CRM (fka Luxor), you will need access to the Task Manager security group which can be found under Admin > Security Group Management > Task Manager. You can also reach out to your CRM (fka Luxor) administrator or Sales Manager who likely has access to edit the system-generated Tasks.

Tasks are to-do items for salespeople using the CRM (fka LuxorCRM) system. 


Tasks can be either: 

  1. Automated Sales Compliance Tasks 
  2. Tasks that are manually created.


Automated (system-generated) Sales Compliance Tasks cannot be edited by the user they are assigned to
