Drying Chambers must be created before equipment can be added to them. See this article on how to create Drying Chambers in Mitigate.
New equipment can be added to a drying chamber one of two ways:
- During the Create New Loss workflow. You will be prompted to add equipment after adding the drying chambers
- Adding new equipment to the job after it has been created via one of these two methods:
- Snapshot > Equipment > More
- Layout > scroll down to the relevant drying chamber > click into the room that you want to add equipment to > click Equipment
Adding Equipment
Once you are in the drying chamber that you want to add equipment to:
- Click on the + plus symbol in the bottom right hand corner
- Click Add. NOTE: You may also see options to connect Scan (to scan a QR code on the equipment) or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth
- After you click Add, you will be presented with a screen to input your equipment specs (for your dehumidifier, air mover, etc)
- Airmovers: When airmovers are selected, the suggested quantity is displayed followed by the fields necessary to indicate the type of airmover, start time of the equipment , and the quantity being installed.
- Dehumidifiers: When dehumidifiers are selected, similar information is displayed. Note however, that only one dehumidifier can be added at a time.
- After adding the equipment, tap ‘Save’. Review the equipment (swipe up and down to view the full list). Tap the “+” button if more equipment needs to be added or switch quickly between your drying chambers
