Adding opportunities to Contacts

Answer

Opportunities are Luxor's form of a sales funnel or sales drip system. In essence, the goal is to turn 1,000 small contacts (Opportunities) into the equivalent of one person who consistently sends you referrals.


Within an Opportunity, you can choose from different types of Sales Cycles. Those Sales Cycles are made up of stages that walk the opportunity from start to finish.


Generally, Opportunities are added to Contacts. They are not added to Jobs since jobs cannot refer you to new leads or sales.

 

You can add Opportunities to Contacts by following the instructions below:

  1. Log into your CRM (fka Luxor) environment
  2. Click on the Contacts module from the module navigation menu on the left-hand menu
  3. Search for the contact that you would like to add an Oppurtunity to and click into the contact to open it up
  4. Click on the Opportunities tab on the bottom navigation menu within the Contact edit screen


  5. Next, click on the + symbol that appears to the left of the navigation menu to add a new Opportunity


  6. From there, you will need to fill out the Opportunity, choose a Sales Cycle as well as a Stage (usually starting with the 1st option for that Sales Cycle stage).
