Issue
- When accessing the calendar, it does not contain any tasks or events
- The calendar is not loading any tasks in DASH
Solution
There are a few causes for a blank calendar:
- Cookies and cache need to be cleared on your browser.
- You may not have a Calendar View set up.
Follow the steps listed below to resolve the issue:
- Clear cookies and cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete. Once you have done that, return to your DASH environment - clearing cookies and cache will log you out of DASH, but commonly fixes the issue.
- Ensure you have a Calendar View setup. You must have at least one view to see tasks. To create a view, select Create from Current View on the right-hand side of the calendar, then name the view. Once you have done this, you will need to select a Group, Resource, or Participant that you would like to view on your Calendar in the left-hand column. Here is a screenshot showing where to do that:
- The calendar may also be blank if the Timezone that is set on your profile in DASH does not match the Timezone on your PC/machine. For example, if your PC is set to Central but your DASH profile timezone is set to Pacific, it will not load due to the conflicting time zones.
- To check the Timezone in DASH, hover over Administration and select Employee. Locate the employee profile and select Edit. At the top of the user profile page (under the user photo upload option), select the correct Timezone from the dropdown and hit Save at the top of the page to confirm your changes. You'll want to ensure that the timezones match between the user's PC and their DASH timezone settings.
