  • How can I add a Referred By contact for a job?
  • Where to add in a Referred By contact in CRM (fka Luxor)?



Answer

To add a "Referred By" to a job in CRM, it must first be updated in DASH, where it will then sync to CRM.




Updating the Referred By field:

  1. Open the Job in DASH
  2. Scroll down to the Claims Information section click the pencil icon.
  3. Update the Referred By field as needed.
  4. The Referred By should be one of the following. For best practice always populate the Referred By with a Marketing Campaign or an Individual Contact.
    • Individual Contact - adding an individual contact as a referred by will populate the Referral Source + Referred By Company + will display the contact's name in CRM as the Referred By. The Owner will be the 
    • Marketing Campaign - adding a Marketing Campaign as a Referred By will only populate the Referral Source. NOTE: no individual sales person gets credit for the job when a Marketing Campaign is the source of referral.
    • Company Contact - adding an individual contact as a referred by will populate the Referral Source + Referred By Company + will display the Owner = "No Contact" on the job under the Referred By field in CRM. 
  5. The information should then sync over to the job within CRM.
