Confirm Estimate
- Before you can convert your Estimate into Work Orders, you need to make sure that the Estimate has been properly added to the job in CL DASH.
- To check this, navigate to the Job Slideboard of the job in question. Scroll down to the Accounting Information section and select Accounting Details
- Once you are on the Job Accounting Summary/Details page, click the yellow "Estimates" button
- From there, you'll be able to see all estimates currently on the job. In order for Work Orders to be generated from an Estimate, there has to be Line Item information on that Estimate. If you see a Line Item Total for an Estimate, you should be able to generate Work Orders.
- If you don't see a Line Item Total listed for an Estimate, then that Estimate was not uploaded or imported to the job properly.

Generate Work Orders
- To convert an Estimate into Work Orders, navigate to the Job Slideboard, scroll down to the Accounting Information section, and select WO/PO.
- On the page that loads, select Convert Estimate to Work Order.
- A small window will appear for your Work Order settings
- First, check/uncheck the boxes beside what information you'd like to include/omit in the Work Orders you'll be generating
- Next, select the Estimate you'd like to generate Work Orders from. Even if there's only one estimate on the job, you still need to manually select the estimate from the list.
- Next, you can set the Work Order Start Date. It defaults to the day you're generating the work orders, but that can be changed for better scheduling if you use the Work Order Scheduler.
- Click Generate Work Orders and the system will begin that process.
- You'll see notifications of the progress of the conversion in the bottom left of the page. The system will refresh the page once it's done generating Work Orders.
- You can also check the status of the Conversion in the Notification Center. Click the White Bell icon and you can see your most recent Notifications.
