• Category and Class cannot be edited in Mitigate
• Why am I unable to change the Category or Class on a job in Mitigate?
• Unable to add Class at the room level
• Unable to add Category at chamber level

Answer

When creating drying chambers and rooms, Mitigate uses logic to determine Category and Class: 

• Category: Category can only be edited at the room level, however, you cannot change this setting for a Chamber. Keep in mind that the Category displayed at the Chamber level will show the highest Category you have selected for a room in that chamber. To change the Category, open a room and set the Category for each room.
• Class: Class can only be edited at the chamber level. However, after entering/editing a room’s damage information, the Class is automatically calculated for that room and cannot be edited. After editing damage information, the Chamber level will display a cumulative Class based on the overall affected area and affected material types. If you wish to change the auto calculated Class at the chamber level, you can. If you set the Class manually, then edit the damage information for a room, you will be prompted if the Class does not match your damage information.
