Unable to locate XactAnalysis assignment in Mitigate

Issue

  • I cannot find a loss / claim in Mitigate (fka MICA) exchange
  • My loss has not synced over from XactAnalysis

Solution(s)

Listed below are a few ways to locate your assignment in Mitigate (fka MICA).

This article covers common issues with XactAnalysis assignments, see this article for information on locating a Workspace (fka Claims Connect) assignment - Claims Workspace assignment is not in Mitigate

  1. Confirm that the claim has indeed been exported from XactAnalysis.
    • Pull up the claim in XactAnalysis and locate the "Detail Summary" section of the claim page. This is the area above the different tabs on that specific assignment.
    • Then locate the "Select an Action" drop-down, and make sure that the "Export to Mitigate (fka MICA)" option is greyed out (indicating it's already been sent).
    • If it is not greyed out, that means it has not been sent. Select the "Export to Mitigate (fka MICA)" option and send the assignment.
    • NOTE: the "Export to Mitigate (fka MICA)" option may not show up in the drop-down if you have your XactAnalysis exports set to Automatic. You can check this within XactAnalysis under Admin > Company Setup and Exports.
  2. Make sure you are searching for the loss in the appropriate Mitigate (fka MICA) exchange environment.
    • Some of our customers use two different Mitigate (fka MICA) URLs (one for their franchise and one for other claims).
    • If you believe you have two different Mitigate (fka MICA) environments that you use, make sure to check both for the loss.
    • If this is not applicable to you or your company, skip to the next step.
  3. Have you or anyone else in your company recently merged the loss into another? Confirm with any other Mitigate (fka MICA) users in your company to check if they may have merged it.
  4. If the assignment was sent from XactAnalysis, make sure the Xactnet address matches what you have in Mitigate (fka MICA). You can check in Mitigate (fka MICA) Exchange in Administrative Tasks > Franchise Information > Third Party Settings or in Profile Setup > Company Setup. The Xactnet address displayed there should match the one within XactAnalysis, under Details > Contractor Address. If not, you would need to reach out to our support team for assistance.
