“Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid” error when launching maps

Issue

When clicking the address on a loss in the DASH mobile, Safari launches and gives this error: “Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid”

Solution

This error will occur when there are no tabs open in Safari (on an iOS device). Create an empty tab in your Safari mobile browser and try again.

You can also update the default browser on your iPhone to open a different browser application (ie Chrome or Firefox) if you have one installed on your device.
