"Failed to instantiate the qbXML Request Processor..." pop-up error

Issue

Error Failed to instantiate the qbXML Request Processor... Perhaps qbxmlrp2.dll is missing? pops up when using Dash Account 3

Solution

This error occurs because your QuickBooks Desktop is located on a server workspace (ex: Citrix Receiver) but DASH Account is installed on your desktop (or vice versa).

DASH Account 3 and QuickBooks Desktop must be installed on the same machine (desktop or cloud desktop) in order to communicate.
