Issue
- Receiving a popup error that says "DASH Account has stopped working" when attempting to manually Import a job or when auto-Export begins to run for Dash Account 3
Solution
This error will only occur for individuals who have DASH Account 3 installed on a virtual machine/server where it is shared with other users in their company. The error indicates that someone else on the virtual machine/server has the DASH Account 3 (DA3) application open or running in the background.
To resolve this issue:
- Request that any other users on the virtual machine/server close DA3 fully or restart the server.
- If you are not sure who else has access, reach out to your IT department or server hosting company and have them check all user's background processes to see if DA3 is running.
- You also have the option of restarting the server completely to close out all applications.
