• Can you change equipment dates in MICA to be set in the past?
• Can I place equipment before the start date in MICA?
• Can you backdate equipment on a job in MICA?

Answer

Some MICA users can update the Start Date on the job which would allow you to add equipment for a prior date. However, some customers (particularly those in certain franchises) cannot edit the start date.

If your company does not allow you to update the Start Date, what you can do is make sure that your moisture and atmospheric readings added for every day since you were there. You should then write the estimate, including all equipment, and run times. (even for the ones that you can't input in MICA.
