Engage (fka ProAssist) portal users not receiving invites or SMS notifications


Issue

  • The homeowner or subcontractor is not receiving the Engage (fka ProAssist) portal invitations
  • Why is Engage (fka ProAssist) not sending text notifications?



Solution

  1. First, make sure that the Engage (fka ProAssist) portal user (homeowner, subcontractor, etc) is added to the job under the ProAssist invites. You can check this by navigating to the job and clicking on "Engage (fka ProAssist) Invite". This will pull up the invite manager. Check to ensure they are added, and the correct mobile phone number is attached. If the phone number is a landline, the SMS text message will fail.
  2. Check for any errors in the Engage (fka ProAssist) invite manager.
  3. Have the Engage (fka ProAssist) portal user (homeowner, subcontractor, etc) send "HELP" to 1-928-517-5660. Then try sending the invite again.
  4. If the issue persists, ask the homeowner or subcontractor what cellular carrier they use and contact Support via Live Chat, by email at support.restoration@corelogic.com, or by phone at 866-769-7855. Please reference this article and any troubleshooting steps you have already taken.
