Setting a View as your default

Question

  • How can I make my View the default?
  • How can I set a View as my default when clicking into my Contacts, Jobs, and Companies (aka Organizations)?

 


Setting Default Views

You can make a view your default (meaning it will be the main view for a particular module) in one of two ways:

  1. Navigate to the Module your view is created under by using the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your CRM (fka Luxor) environment (i.e. Contacts, Jobs, Companies, Opportunities, etc). Then select the View from the view dropdown/selector. Once you've clicked on the view and the page has refreshed, click on the down arrow symbol to the right of the View selector (see image below). Then click "Set Default View".
     


  2. Alternatively, you can make a view your default by navigating to Settings > My Views. Then select the module that your view is created under (i.e. Jobs, Companies, Contacts, etc). Locate the view that you want to be your default from the list. Then check the box under the Default column on the same row as your View (see image below).
