What is happening to DryTrack?
Effective December 1, 2026, the legacy DryTrack water mitigation and moisture logging feature will be formally retired and deactivated across all environments within the core DASH application. It will no longer be available for project documentation in any version or branded instance of DASH.
Why is DryTrack being discontinued?
DryTrack is a legacy feature of our older product suite. Modern platforms, like Cotality’s Mitigate, have become the standard solution for water mitigation logging in the restoration industry. To ensure our development teams can focus on supporting advanced, secure, and deeply integrated purpose-built drying platforms, we are retiring this legacy internal module and encouraging all users to adopt Mitigate.
When will this change take effect?
The feature will be turned off permanently on December 1, 2026, marking its official end-of-life.
What will happen to the DryTrack feature?
On December 1st, your field teams will see an immediate layout cleanup in the Actions panel of the job slideboard. All active logging, data-entry, and visit-editing buttons are being completely removed in DASH Mobile.
Will the DryTrack website/URL also be shut down?
- Q: I access DASH through the DryTrack URL. Will that stop working?
- A: No. The domain itself is not being deleted as part of this phase, and it will remain active after December 1, 2026. You can continue using your existing bookmarked web address to log into DASH exactly as you normally do.
- Q: Should I switch to the standard DASH URL?
- A: While switching is completely optional for now, you are welcome to transition your browser entries over to the standard DASH URL at any time. It provides the exact same system permissions and platform features. If your team wants to proactively update browser shortcuts today, feel free to start utilizing dash-ngs.net instead of your legacy login link.
Will we lose our historical job data and moisture logs?
No. You will not lose any historical data, and you do not need to take manual action to save it. To ensure complete data preservation, the main menu structure will remain active on your job slide board, displaying a single dedicated option: Drying Report. This button will remain permanently accessible on all historical jobs processed prior to December 1st, allowing your managers and technicians to pull completed historical data views directly from the active workspace whenever needed.
What if I currently use DryTrack in my daily workflow?
Because live logging features will be fully disabled, your workflows will be impacted if you rely on this tool daily. To prevent operational disruption, you should begin planning an immediate transition to our modern replacement platform, Mitigate. Mitigate is our standard industry tool designed specifically to handle seamless mobile data capture out in the field. Please contact our team at sales.ngs@cotality.com
What are my alternatives to DryTrack?
Some customers may transition to Mitigate to replace DryTrack functionality. Your account team can help recommend the best option for your business needs. Contact our sales team to learn more about Mitigate. You can also email them directly at sales.ngs@cotality.com.
Why am I receiving this communication if I don’t use DryTrack?
Some customers may have the DryTrack feature enabled but are not actively using it. These notifications are intended to ensure all users are aware of the upcoming change.
Will I be contacted directly?
Customers with active usage or billing considerations may receive direct outreach from sales or account teams prior to general notifications.
