Disable PDF requirement for Add Estimate

  • How can I no longer require a Final Draft PDF upload for Add Estimate in DASH?

 


Answer

Note

Previously, a PDF was required when using the Add Estimate feature in DASH. However, since Add Estimate only updates the Estimate $ amount and does not require a DATA estimate (ex: Rough Draft PDF or XML PDF), a Final Draft PDF is not always needed. 

Now you can turn off the requirement for a Final Draft PDF when updating your Estimate dollar amount via Add Estimate.

  1. Log into your DASH environment
  2. Hover over Administration and select Company Settings
  3. On the Company Settings page, select Accounting
  4. Uncheck this box to not require a PDF when using Add Estimate
