You can streamline your workflow in DASH by uploading a Rough Draft estimate PDF created from Xactimate. This uploads your estimate data and line items, allowing you to generate work orders and budget the job. Additionally, depending on the requirements of the TPA or carrier, the Rough Draft can be submitted for estimate review using Validate (submit to QAA).
- Within Xactimate please ensure that the Print Options selected (or deselected) match the image above.
- The report type should = Rough Draft.
- Everything under Print Selection should be checked
- Everything under Additional Options should be unchecked
- Click on the Images tab and ensure everything is unchecked
- Click Export > Export PDF file to generate a PDF (save to your PC or device)
- Navigate to the job in DASH and ensure the following is completed:
- Make sure that the Estimate PDF = Rough Draft. This should correspond to what was exported from Xactimate in the previous step and = Rough Draft PDF.
- Upload as a Main or a Revision to the original
- Click Select for the Data Estimate field - locate the Rough Draft PDF file on your PC and attach
- Click Select for the Final Draft field - locate a Final Draft PDF of the file (or you can use the Rough Draft) and attach
- Ensure you have the desired boxes selected for taxes and deductibles
- Click the "Submit to QA Assist" box if you are using Validate review for this claim (as outlined by your Franchise, TPA, or Carrier workflow)
- Click Upload Estimate
