If your company uses a dispatching service for program jobs, note that a corporate dispatched assignment or Claim cannot be linked to a locally created Job. Dispatched assignments may only be linked to existing Claims.
.If you need to attach a separate assignment to an existing Job/Claim within Restoration DASH™, use the following steps:
- Search for the existing Job/Claim number within DASH and navigate to its Slideboard.
- From the Job Slideboard, click on Linked Assignment Information.
- Click Link Job to Assignment.
- Choose Not Linked to Any Claim.
- Select the platform associated with the assignment (Xactware or Symbility) from the dropdown menu on the top right.
- Click the checkbox next to the desired assignment and click Link.
