Issue
- Receive an error when accessing a view in CRM (fka Luxor)
- Unable to access Contacts view in CRM

- Unable to access Organizations/Companies view in CRM
- Views are not loading in CRM
Solution
There are a couple things that can cause an error when accessing a view in CRM (fka Luxor). Check the following causes listed below:
- Too many columns or calculated fields
- Sometimes if you add an excessive number of columns (aka fields) in a view it can cause your browser to time out. Similarly, adding a lot of fields with calculations (any fields with $ or # in the name) can cause a timeout.
- You can check if the view has this issue by going to Settings > My Views. Select the module you're receiving the error in from the menu (Jobs, Contacts, Organizations, etc).
- From there, locate the name of the view and click to open it.
- NOTE: if you are having issues accessing a module (ie Contacts, Organizations, Jobs) and are not sure which view is causing the issue, locate the view which is set as the default under the "Default" column.
- NOTE: you will not be able to click into or edit Shared views or system-created views. If the view you are having issues with is a view that was shared with you, reach out to the report owner to see if they can edit it from Settings > My Views.
- Once on the edit view screen, review the View to see if it may have too many fields under "View Fields" or if there are an excessive number of fields with "$" or "#" in the name. Fields with #/$ symbols can put a strain on your system since they execute calculations/sums in the background.
- Fiscal Year End is missing
- Navigate to Admin > Company Information
- Make sure you have a Fiscal Year End date added here
