Photo album visibility

Question

  • How can I make a photo album(s) public in DASH?
  • How can I set photo albums to Private?

Answer

If you want to share photos with 3rd party assignment software's (like Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) or Xactanalysis) you'll want to make sure the albums are set to Public visibility.

Also, if you use Engage (fka ProAssist) or the Email Link to Job feature, setting albums to Public will allow 3rd parties to view them. If you do not want them to show to 3rd parties, you'll want to ensure that the album is set to Private.

Updating your photo album visibility to Public:

  1. In DASH, navigate to the job's page/slideboard
  2. Click on the Photos album tab
  3. Click "Manage Photos and Albums"
  4. Select the photo album from the left-hand side of the photos tab
  5. Select Update Album
  6. Set the visibility to Public (or Private depending on your preference)
