Data Quality Dashboard

Overview

The Data Quality Dashboard (aka DQD or DIG) is a feature in DASH that allows you to see jobs missing critical job data such as job participants, job dates, and job financials.

The dashboard is composed of three different sections to help you root out your missing/illogical information:

  • Missing Participants (customer, accounting person, coordinator, estimator, foreman, marketing person, supervisor, adjuster, broker)
  • Missing Dates
  • Missing Money

There is also a "Show All Jobs Received On/After" date range, so you can go back as far as you wish to see. Just simply click the calendar icon to go back as far as you would like, and then click the Go button to see your Dig  Board from the time frame you selected.

Missing Participants

The Missing Participants section of the Data Quality Dashboard will only show open jobs and allows you to see which jobs, from the time frame you selected, are missing participants. The list of participants includes:

  • Customer
  • Accounting Person
  • Coordinator
  • Estimator
  • Foreman
  • Marketing Person
  • Supervisor
  • Adjuster
  • Broker

As you can see, the Missing Participants section breaks down each participant by showing you the number of jobs that are missing that particular participant as well as the total estimate amount for those jobs.

Missing Dates

Missing Dates allows you to see which jobs, from within the time frame you select, are missing key dates that contribute to the clear logic and understanding of the job’s time frame. There are four different sections to Missing Dates:

  • Starts Without Approval - The job has a Date Started, but not a Date of Estimate Approval.
    • Questions to ask: Why did the job start without approval? Was there approval and we forgot to enter the date?
  • Completed Without Start Date - The job has a Date of Majority Completion, but not a Date Started
    • Questions to ask: Why is there no Start Date? Did we mean to enter a Date of Majority Completion? Are we ready for the Lien Rights countdown to begin if we do not have a documented Date Started?
  • Closed Completed Work not Paid - The closed job has a Date of Majority Completion, but not a Date Paid
    • Questions to ask: Why is there no paid date? Were we paid for this job? Did we intentionally close a job that does not have a Date Paid? Do we have a final payment, and overlooked the Date Paid?
  • Completed Without Approval - The job has a Date of Majority Completion, but not a Date of Estimate Approval
    • Questions to ask: Why did we complete the job without approval? Was there approval and we forgot to enter the date? Are we ready for the Lien Rights countdown to begin if we do not have a Date of Estimate Approval?

Missing Money

Missing Money allows you to see which jobs, from within a time frame you select, have missing information, or an error in Accounting logic. This error in logic can contribute to inaccurate Gross Profit readings and reports. There are three different sections to Missing Money:

  • Date Started Without Estimate - There is a Date Started, but there is NO Estimate Amount provided.
  • Amount Paid vs Estimated - The Amount Paid for a job is MORE than the Estimated Amount.
  • Amount Paid vs Invoiced Amount - The Amount Paid for a job is MORE than the Invoiced Amount.
