- How can I reassign a system-generated task in CRM (fka Luxor) from one user to another?
Answer
Tasks = to-do items for salespeople using the CRM (fka Luxor) system.
Tasks can be created in two ways:
- Automated Sales Compliance Tasks (tasks that are unable to be edited - except by the Task Manager)
- Manually created tasks
In order to build, view, manage, and re-assign system-automated tasks in Luxor, you will need access to the Task Manager security group which can be found under Admin > Security Group Management > Task Manager. You can also reach out to your CRM (fka Luxor) administrator or Sales Manager who likely has access to edit or re-assign the system-generated Tasks.
To re-assign a task:
- Log into your CRM (fka Luxor) environment
- Navigate to the Home page of Luxor
- Next to Tasks, select the name of the user who is currently assigned the task from the dropdown menu
- Once the name is selected, locate the specific task(s) that need to be re-assigned
- You can reassign tasks one of two ways:
- Select the checkbox(es) next to the task(s), then click the right arrow symbol
to reassign them
- Click on a specific task from the list of tasks and click the "Assign" button, then choose from the list of employees/users to re-assign the task to
- Select the checkbox(es) next to the task(s), then click the right arrow symbol
