"We are sorry but this PDF estimate could not be parsed by our program" when uploading estimate

Issue

Unable to upload a data estimate from Xactimate
Receiving this error when uploading an estimate - "we are sorry but this PDF estimate could not be parsed by our program. Please regenerate the Estimate and try uploading it again"

The most common cause of this error is the settings when exporting/saving the report PDF within Xactimate.

Please ensure that the options selected (or deselected) in the Xactimate system for regenerating the estimate match those depicted in the image below. All options under Print Selection should be checked, while those under Additional Options should not be checked. It is important to note that the Report type should be Rough Draft.
Within DASH, make sure that the appropriate "Estimate PDF Type" is selected. This should correspond to what was exported from Xactimate in the previous step and = Rough Draft PDF.
If the above steps did not resolve the error check to see if the estimate has a Date Received added within Xactimate.
