"You are a valid user but ... is already running DASH Account from your office" error message

Issue

  • Error when using DASH Account 2
  • "You are a valid user but [insert name] is already running DASH Account from your office" popup error for DASH Account 2



Solution

This error means that someone else in your company who has DASH Account 2 (DA2) is running it on their machine. The other user may be running DA2 in the background as well. You will need to ask them to close the program and ensure that it is no longer running. They will need to follow these steps:

  1. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE
  2. Click Task Manager
  3. Verify that DASH Account 2 is closed / not running
