Unable to sync a job into Sage 100 using DASH Account 2

Issue

  • I am unable to import one (or a few) specific jobs from DASH into Sage 100
  • I cannot sync a job into Sage 100 using DASH Account 2 (DA2)

Solution

These are the common reasons that a job is having issues syncing into Sage 100i:

  • The customer's name is too long. Sage 100 has a character limit for customer names. If you notice that the customer name in DASH is uniquely long, try shortening it and try importing again.
  • Check for any special characters in the customer's name
  • Check to see if there is a space before the name
  • Sometimes there are issues with the customer's name already existing in Sage and DA2 is unable to add a job under it. Delete any instances of the customer's name and then try to re-import
  • If there is an ARN added to the job in DASH, but there is already a job in Sage with that same ARN, you will be unable to sync that job.
