Solution
Are you attempting to sync with QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) while DASH Account 3 is closed?
If so, this error occurs because someone in your company is already logged into QBD as the user DASH Account 3 (DA3) is trying to log in as.
When DASH Account 3 is integrated with your QuickBooks Desktop software, it is allowed to log into QBD as a selected user. This user is typically the "Admin" user or another user that has full admin abilities.
Therefore, if someone else in your company is already logged in as the Admin user (i.e. the user DASH Account is integrated under), then DA3 will not be able to access the QBD software to sync. There are two options to get around this:
- Open QB, log into your profile, and try to run the sync. If your profile does not have full admin permissions, DASH Account 3 may not be able to access and sync all the information it needs.
- Alternatively, check to see if someone else in your company is logged into QB as Admin (or the user that DA/QB is integrated to open with). Once that person logs out, you should be able to sync without issue.
