Deactivating users

The ability to deactivate or reactivate users requires proper security access. To grant access to this feature: 1. Hover over Administration and click on Employee/Security Settings 2. Click Security or Group Security. Select the employee's name (or title) in the upper-right hand corner. 3. Expand Administration > select Employee

Disclaimer

You cannot delete users within DASH, you can only deactivate them.

  1. First, hover over "Administration" on the blue navigation ribbon within DASH, then select "Employee"

      
  2. This page houses all employees/users in your system. Use the search function or scroll to locate the user you would like to deactivate.
  3. Click "Edit" next to their name to edit the user's profile.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the user's profile edit page and locate the "Profile Details" section in the lower right


  5. Check the box next to "deactivate"
  6. Scroll to the top and click "Save" to save the changes
  7. If the user/employee still has tasks assigned to them when you de-activate them you may see a popup that allows you to re-assign any Compliance Tasks, Job Tasks, Marketing Tasks, Production Tasks, and Calendar Events.
     

     

 


Reactivating users

  1. First, hover over "Administration" on the blue navigation ribbon within DASH, then select "Employee"


  2. On the Employee Details page, select the "Show Inactive Employees" option. This will show both active and inactive users within your system

     
  3. Scroll or search for the user's profile and click "Edit" next to their name
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the user's profile edit page and locate the "Profile Details" section in the lower right


  5. Uncheck the box next to "deactivate" to reactive the user's profile
  6. Scroll to the top and click "Save" to save the changes
