Deactivating users

The ability to deactivate or reactivate users requires proper security access. To grant access to this feature: 1. Hover over Administration and click on Employee/Security Settings 2. Click Security or Group Security. Select the employee's name (or title) in the upper-right hand corner. 3. Expand Administration > select Employee

You cannot delete users within DASH, you can only deactivate them.
- First, hover over "Administration" on the blue navigation ribbon within DASH, then select "Employee"
- This page houses all employees/users in your system. Use the search function or scroll to locate the user you would like to deactivate.
- Click "Edit" next to their name to edit the user's profile.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the user's profile edit page and locate the "Profile Details" section in the lower right
- Check the box next to "deactivate"
- Scroll to the top and click "Save" to save the changes
- If the user/employee still has tasks assigned to them when you de-activate them you may see a popup that allows you to re-assign any Compliance Tasks, Job Tasks, Marketing Tasks, Production Tasks, and Calendar Events.
Reactivating users
- First, hover over "Administration" on the blue navigation ribbon within DASH, then select "Employee"
- On the Employee Details page, select the "Show Inactive Employees" option. This will show both active and inactive users within your system
- Scroll or search for the user's profile and click "Edit" next to their name
- Scroll down to the bottom of the user's profile edit page and locate the "Profile Details" section in the lower right
- Uncheck the box next to "deactivate" to reactive the user's profile
- Scroll to the top and click "Save" to save the changes
