Unable to email document for signature

Question

  • Unable to click the email icon to email the document out for signatures
  • Cannot email the document to be signed
  • Cannot send a document to customer in DASH

Has the Responsible Editor marked the document "Ready for Signature" and approved any final edits?

You cannot email the document out of DASH until the Responsible Editor has marked the document as ready for signature. You will need to reach out to the Responsible Editor and have them take the necessary action to make the document ready to email out of DASH.

 

If you are not sure who the Responsible Editor is for the document, you can locate it by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the job page (aka slideboard) that the compliance task (and document) is associated with.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the job page and click on the Documents tab
  3. Click on the pencil icon  next to the document.
  4. A popup window will appear and you can see who the Responsible Editor is. If you need to assign a new Responsible Editor, select the drop-down and choose from the list of users in your DASH environment.
