Answer

NOTE: we recommend using the original .docx or .doc version of your contract/document if you have access to it. PDF > text conversion can occasionally provide unexpected results. 

You can import any of the file types listed below:

• .doc
• .docx
• .HTML
• .PDF

Follow the instructions below to learn how to import your .doc, .docx, .HTML or .pdf file. You can also follow along with this video (Importing Documents to Document Generator)

1. Hover over More > Document Generator
2. Click "Import"
3. Enter your document name
4. Click "Select" to browse your computer for the document that you would like to import
5. Click Import
6. After you click Import, you will be taken to the Document Generator edit screen
7. A popup may appear, click Continue
8. Scan over the document and check for any minor adjustments in the formatting
9. Add in form fields, merge fields and/or signature fields to the document
10. Save the document in the top right-hand corner
