Answer
Has the document been marked “Ready for Signature” by the Responsible Editor?
Marking a document "Ready for Signature" will lock down the document from any future edits and will activate the Signature Fields which are included in the template.
If you made a mistake and need to edit the document before it is signed, you can un-associate the document from the document bucket on the job, then re-add it and try again:
- Navigate to the job where the document is attached
- Click on the documents tab at the bottom of the job page
- Click on the "Manage Job Documents" button at the top of the Documents tab
- Locate the document from the list and click on the "Unassociate" button
- Now, you will need to re-attach the document.
- From there, the Responsible Editor can re-fill out any form fields and make any edits that they need.
