Question
- My DASH document is signed but the compliance task is not auto-completing
- Compliance task has not been marked as completed even though the document has been attached to the job and signed by all parties
- Document is not converting to a PDF even though it has been signed
Answer
Has the Responsible Editor marked the document as Complete after all signatures have been added?
Make sure the Responsible Editor has marked the document as Complete. This is required in order for the document to be finalized and converted to a PDF. Once the document is converted to a PDF, the compliance task will be marked complete.
This additional step (marking a document as Complete) is for added security to ensure that all necessary signatures are captured and that everything with the document looks good to go.
If you are not sure who the Responsible Editor is for the document, you can locate it by following these steps:
- Navigate to the job page (aka slideboard) that the compliance task (and document) is associated with.
- Scroll to the bottom of the job page and click on the Documents tab
- Click on the attachment icon next to the document.
- A popup window will appear and you can see who the Responsible Editor is. If you need to assign a new Responsible Editor, select the drop-down and choose from the list of users in your DASH environment.
