Tracking overtime, doubletime, holiday pay, or bonuses with QBO + Timesheets integration

Question

How can I track/create Overtime, Double time, Holiday Pay, Bonuses, etc. with the QuickBooks Online + DASH Timesheets integration?

Answer

At this time, any "Common pay type" selections in QBO (located on the Employee's page - side menu in QBO > Payroll > Employee > locate specific Employee's profile) will not work with DASH Timesheets.

If you want to use an equivalent of these options (Doubletime, Overtime, Holiday Pay, etc) you will want to create a custom Pay Type in QBO instead on the Employee's Pay Type settings. DASH Timesheets is currently not able to interpret these built-in features in QBO, however, we are interested in addressing this in future enhancements.
