Claims Estimate (Mobile Claims) not importing/syncing over

Issue

  • Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) / Symbility estimate is not importing into DASH
  • Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) / Symbility estimate is not syncing into DASH 
  • Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims) estimate is not showing up to import into DASH



Solution(s)

There are a few reasons why your estimate from Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) is not showing on the Import Estimate screen for importing.

Follow this series of steps to resolve your issue.

 


Is the correct assignment linked?

  1. First, navigate to the job in DASH and make sure that you have the correct Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) assignment linked in DASH. An assignment must be linked to the job to pull in the estimate.
  2. Expand the section for "Linked assignment information"


  3. Under "Linked Assignment Information" double check that the assignment linked is the same as the one you have your estimate on in Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect).
  4. If there is no assignment linked click "Link job to assignment" > select the drop down and choose Symbility > click the button "not linked to any claim"



 

Check your integration configuration

  1. First you will need to grab some information in Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) (the web app at symbility.net - not the desktop Estimate (fka Mobile Claims) app). NOTE: you may not have the security to access the areas in the next steps - check with your administrator for access.
  2. Hover over your name in the top right corner of Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) and click Company Information
  3. On this page copy the CC/Symbility ID (it should look like a numerical phone number). Paste this into a word doc for future steps.
  4. Hover over your name in the top right again and this time click API Account.
  5. Click on the “Configuration (SOAP)” tab (might also be labeled “General”) and make sure that you have the Symbility ID you grabbed in the previous step listed in the "Account Number” field
  6. Go back to your DASH environment and hover over Administration > Office
  7. Click on "Edit Office" make sure the "Dispatch Symbility Company ID" is the same ID that you got from Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect)
  8. Close out of that modal/popup and go to "Edit Symbility Company ID" make sure it matches the ID you put into the "Dispatch Symbility Company ID" field
  9. Hover over Administration again and click on "API Configuration"
  10. Make sure that the "Notification API Key" and the "API Account Number" are the same as the Symbility ID that was in your Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) profile.

 


Re-sync the assignment

  1. Open your Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims) desktop application. NOTE: if you don't have it, you can download it from your Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) web app (symbility.net) - click on your name in the upper right-hand corner and click "Download Mobile Claims"
  2. Locate the assignment associated with the estimate within Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims)
  3. Click "Acquire ownership", "Synchronize", "Upload Assignment", "Synchronize", "Release ownership", and "Synchronize"

 


Is this an older or declined assignment?

Is this an older assignment that was created before you set up their Claims Workspace (fka Claims Connect) integration or a claim that was declined in DASH ? If that is the case, you can create a new claim by clicking "Create Claim" and then import the estimate data (from the older claim) into the New Claim and subsequently import that estimate data into DASH .

  1. Use the Create Claim option in Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims) to create a new claim to hold this estimate. Fill out all the require fields and hit 'Save.'
  2. Once you've created the new claim, right-click on “Estimate” on the left-hand side of the claim screen
  3. Select the “Import Estimates..” option which should allow you to copy over the estimate from the older claim you have downloaded to Symbility/Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims).

     
  4. Upload this Claim to Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims) and Synchronize. This should allow it to be synced into DASH Link Job to Assignment Queue.
  5. Link the Assignment to the DASH Job
  6. Release Ownership of the Claim in Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims)  and hit Synchronize. This should sync over the new copy of the estimate to the linked DASH  Job.
  7. Once the estimate is imported successfully, this New Claim is no longer needed and can be removed from Claims Estimate (fka Mobile Claims).
