"Vendor Exchange Not Available" notification

Issue

If in your version of Xactimate you receive a notification stating “Vendor Exchange Not Available”, you will need to take the following steps outlined in this article for Xactware to turn this feature on.


The message will be in your notification center and will look something like this:



Solution

This notification indicates that the Vendor Exchange tool needs to be enabled by Xactware/Verisk for your account. You will need to reach out to their support team to complete this. For detailed guides on how to access Xactware support, see this PDF manual.


When you speak to Xactware, you can use this script to request that Vendor Exchange is enabled for Importing Estimates:
