Claims Workspace / DASH Integration Setup

Overview

The integration between DASH and Claims Workspace™ streamlines the exchange of job data. This feature allows for the automatic transfer of dates, documents, notes, and photos from DASH to Workspace, and for estimates and notes to transfer from Workspace back into the DASH environment.

This guide details the setup steps required in both Workspace and DASH.

Workspace Setup

To begin, retrieve your Workspace ID and configure the API account:

  1. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner of Workspace and select Company Information to get your Workspace ID.
  2. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner and select API Account. (If this option is unavailable, contact your Administrator.)
  3. Inside API Account, click the Configuration (SOAP) tab.
  4. Ensure your Account Status is Active.
  5. Enter your Workspace ID into the Account number field.
  6. Create a password and record it for use in the DASH setup. Note: Do not check the HTTPS box, and leave Remote IP Addresses empty.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click the Notifications (SOAP) tab.
  9. Set API Version to: 3.12.
  10. Ensure the "Send notifications for all branches" box is checked.
  11. Under Primary Client, check the box for Web service URL and use the following: https://dash-ngs.net/webservices/SymbilityEventRx/EventRx.svc
  12. For Webservice Key, enter your Workspace ID.
  13. Under Events Filter, check the first box to ensure all notification options below are enabled.



DASH Side

Configure the API connection and Office settings in DASH:

  1. In DASH, hover over Administration and click API Configuration.
  2. Click on Add Region.
  3. Select your Region.
  4. Enter your Workspace ID as both the Notification API Key and the API Account Number.
  5. Enter the password created during the Workspace setup.
  6. Click Insert.
  7. Hover over Administration and click Company Settings.
  8. Click Office. (If this option is not visible in your DASH environment, reach out to Support, and they will enter the ID for you.)
  9. Click Edit Claims Connect Company IDs.
  10. Enter your Workspace ID and click Add Addresses.
    Note: If you have multiple Office locations, enter the Workspace ID for each office.
