There are 3 ways that email settings can be configured for DASH. Please read through to determine which setup your company uses:
I. Use Your Own Email Client (Outlook, Yahoo, or GoDaddy)
- You can utilize existing email provider by logging in with your email provider's details.
- This works with services like Outlook (via OAuth), Yahoo, and GoDaddy.
- Outlook users use the OAuth feature for secure access.
- See the OAuth section below Outlook
- See the IMAP section for Yahoo or GoDaddy
II. Gmail Integration with Zoho (IMAP or POP3)
- If your company uses Gmail, you can connect it to Zoho by configuring your email settings through a Zoho account.
- This is due to Gmail's restrictive security measures for 3rd party integrations.
- See more info below in the Gmail section.
III. Cotality Email Service with Zoho (IMAP or POP3)
- Depending on your email service provider, Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) may provide one to your company through Zoho Mail.
- Emails will be hosted under @dashstart.net or @mail.ngsapps.net domains.
- You can confirm by looking at other users in your account under Administration > Employee / Security Settings > Email Settings. Click Edit next to any user with enabled email settings to see if they have an @dashstart.net or @mail.ngsapps.net email under the User Information tab.
- See more info below on how to configure a new user with Cotality provided email services.
Outlook OAuth
OAuth ("Open Authorization") is a method of connecting Outlook to your DASH environment. This is an alternative method to the legacy IMAP setup which was previously used in DASH for Microsoft/Outlook email settings.
