• BI is running slowly
• BI is lagging or experiencing latency

Solution

There are a few factors that can contribute to your BI report builder running slowly:

1. Is your "Preview Records" number set very high while building/previewing your report? Try lowering this number so that BI can load faster during report editing.
   
   
   
2. Are you using a lot of calculated fields or retrieving a substantial amount of data (many columns)? If you notice that your large reports are taxing your browser, consider dividing your report into several smaller ones.
3. Run a speed test to ensure your internet speeds are optimal - you can do this by searching "Speed Test" in your browser.
